This begs the question: How many other people out there do the same thing and if it’s a lot then there must be milk left over at the end of the week that no one has wanted.

This is a flyer for a promotion I found the other day in the supermarket.
The bags they’re talking about are the re usable green bags. You know the ones that are supposed to save the planet.
These wonder bags are made from exactly the same stuff as a normal plastic bag the only difference is they last a little longer before falling apart, and they are great for companies to use as advertising billboards.
Why would such a promotion exist? Coud it be that we now have too many ‘green’ bags and now we have a new problem.

For earths sake, just get your hands on three or four QUALITY bags and keep them for ever. In fact pass them on to your children.
The last thing we need is large supermarkets telling us how to save the planet. Use your own brains. Please!
The only good thing about this promotion is the ability to take waste plastic and convert it into fabulous moulded products such as furniture. One company who are doing this is REPLAS . I’d love to check this company out…so stay tuned.
The bin has since left. I actually wasn’t around when the bin was collected and carted away.
I can’t help thinking about the contents of the bin and where it is now. Everything that was placed into the skip is now sitting somewhere. I wonder where. Is is all together? Has it all been separated? Has it been buried? Where will it be in three months? Three years?
Am I strange to think about this?

The photo on the right is the same hole / void only three days later.

If you look closely you will notice the cover to the pole has been moved around. It is possible (and indeed very likely) that someone has done some work right at this spot but just left the litter in the hole. They may have even added to it. I know it’s the council’s responsibility to clean this up. I’m just curious to know:

1. How does it happen in the first place.

2. Would a member of the public/community ever think to clean up a mess on the street?

3. How does this mess actually get cleaned up?

See previous post if you’re unsure what on earth I’m on about!
