It’s been five days. The mattress is still lying on the footpath. (see photo below)

Eventually this mattress will disappear. It not be by magic. Sorry kids…I wish there was such a thing- but there’s not.

How will it disappear? Where will it go? I wonder how many mattresses are thrown away everyday? They’re big bulky things afterall. They get slept on. They get old. Some are stained. Some are torn. Some would smell. Why aren’t we drowning in old mattresses – yuk! Have I become mattress obsessed. Probably…
